After falling into a coma due to complications in childbirth, Addie finds herself able to communicate with her husband in an “alternate reality.” As they spend a final day together traveling across the avenues of Manhattan, they meet seven unlikely New Yorkers who, in turn, mysteriously help them through the seven stages of grief.
